Bonsai Pots

It's a new venture, long in the making and still in the discovery mode. I've spent hours at the Huntington Gardens Bonsai Court visiting the plants, photographing the trees, blooms, and pomegranet fruit, always aware of the pots that held them but not wanting to jump into the making of them.

I had spent time with the curator and the staff at the Huntington and finally at a recent plant sale met some Bonsai practictioners who gave me important clues as to the formality and history of the Art of Bonsai.
